Reader Response 6

The 826 National is non-profit program that it out to help students that are 6-18 years old with expository and creative writing. There goal is to give student more one-on-one time and to help them and teach them writing skills and other things for their future. The inspire children to do better in school and to get a good education. Now this is all free for children and student who are interested in learning or have issues and need special attention. They take a number of workshops, classes, and fieldtrips to help educate these kids. They have a number of programs that they have and many kinds of awards that they give out and ways to help people. Now, the co-founder of the 826 National is going to receive a TED-Award. The TED is a great program. There are people chosen to win 100,000 to put towards something to help change the world in a positive way. I think the 826 National is a very beneficial program and I think more attention should be brought to it because it can be very helpful to people. One way I think that we can help out the 826 National is to bring more attention to it and get more people to learn about it and what there goal is. People can go to volunteer and help out there and if you can’t do that or aren’t able to, you can raise or donate money to them to help them expand there locations and do better things to get to more people. The 826 National is a great program and helps/can help us in a good way. They give special attention to students who need it and give one-on-one attention to students who need it and they teach students good skills that they may not be able to get in the classroom. Their website has newly published books on it and they tell you what there about. I think it’s a great program and is very useful to people and I think it will help us in a great way
